    How the Renewable Energy Alliance works

     

    The Renewable Energy Alliance uses a collective procurement model that groups organisations together to access renewable generation from named wind, solar and hydro assets.

    This approach is designed to prioritise credibility and transparency over short-term price optimisation.

    Electricity demand is matched to renewable generation on a half-hourly basis, providing confidence that renewable output is directly offsetting consumption.

    This structure removes the need for individual asset ownership or bespoke Power Purchase Agreements, while maintaining a high level of credibility and transparency.

    The Renewable Energy Alliance is available to a limited number of organisations on a first-come, first-served basis. Renewable generation capacity is finite, and once allocated, access will close.

    The Renewable Energy Alliance is designed for organisations consuming approximately 2–20 GWh of electricity per year that are committed to credible sustainability and long-term ESG goals.

    It is suited to organisations that want to prove their electricity is genuinely renewable, not simply labelled as “green” and that require an alternative to traditional PPAs or price-led consortium models.
