We’re delighted to announce that we have joined the Carbon Accounting Alliance. The organisation exists to pool the knowledge of companies and individuals who deliver carbon reporting daily, consisting of carbon accounting software companies, consultancies, auditors, certifying bodies and independent professionals.
With over 200 members, the Carbon Accounting Alliance has to date measured the carbon footprint of more than 50,000 organisations, with over 1 billion tonnes of C02e logged and a reduction of more than 29 million tonnes of direct tonnes of C02e. One of our primary purposes is to partner with businesses to help them transition to a net zero future. Over the last five years, we have developed the services required to allow companies to confidently measure, declare and reduce their emissions whilst taking advantage of the financial and reputational benefits net zero can bring.
Carbon accounting is the cornerstone of all reduction plans and we are likely to see even greater alignment in the Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) and Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR). Our carbon reporting software Pulse Net Zero, which also delivers energy management software, has been designed to help more organisations understand their carbon footprint and work towards lowering their emissions. We’ll be looking to share our insights with the Carbon Accounting Alliance to improve the accuracy and success of our customers in reducing carbon.
