We’re proud to share that we have been named a finalist in multiple categories at this year’s BIBAs. This recognition reflects the work our team continues to do in helping organisations reduce energy costs, manage compliance, and make more confident progress towards net zero.
Being shortlisted is always meaningful, but what matters most to us is what sits behind it: the relationships we build with customers, the results we help deliver, and the shared commitment across our team to making complex challenges feel clearer and more manageable.
This year we were named a finalist in:
Each category reflects a different part of our journey and the values that shape how we work, from innovation and customer focus to sustainable growth and long-term impact.
Reaching the interview stage gave us a valuable opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come, what we stand for, and where we’re heading next. It was also a chance to represent the people behind Trident who bring energy, expertise, and care to the work every day.
Steve Campbell, Systems & Processes Team Manager said:
“It was a privilege to represent Trident at the interview stage for the Medium Business of the Year award. Speaking to the judging panel gave us a great opportunity to bring our achievements to life and it was great to be able to welcome the judges to our offices in June for all 3 awards we've made the list of finalists for.”
Paul Smith, Customer Success Manager said:
“With looking after the Account Management Team, who are Trident's first port of call for the majority of customers, I am extremely proud the team have achieved a 96.2% renewal rate over the last 12 months, with an average client tenure over 12 and a half years. To talk to the judges around this and then be shortlisted as finalists was an extremely proud moment, with the judges clearly recognising the service levels Trident have provided over the last 25 years.”
Lisa Nelson-Jenkinson, Personal Assistant said:
"I was incredibly proud to represent Trident at the BIBAs 2026 interviews in the Employer of the Year category along with my brilliant Sales & Marketing Director, Steve Sorah. Speaking about what makes Trident such a great place to work came naturally, with countless examples of the people, culture and support that makes Trident what it is. It was an honour to represent the company throughout the process, and we were absolutely ecstatic to be announced as finalists! ”
For us, this is about more than an awards process. It reflects the progress we're making as a business and the trust our customers place in us to help manage energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, and growing compliance demands. We're proud that our practical, customer-focused approach is making a real difference.
We’re grateful to the BIBAs for this recognition, and proud of everyone involved in getting us to this stage. Most of all, thank you to our team and our customers. Your trust, commitment, and ambition are a huge part of what makes moments like this possible. We look forward to what comes next.
