As we celebrate 25 years in business, we're proud to announce our new partnership with Blackpool Football Club as the Club's Official Training Ground Sponsor for the 2026/27 season, alongside our trusted energy supply partner, VoltX Power.
Founded in Blackpool in 2001, we've grown from a local business into one of the UK's leading independent energy and sustainability consultancies. Partnering with our hometown club at such a significant milestone in our history makes this sponsorship particularly special for everyone at Trident.
As part of the agreement, our branding will feature at Blackpool FC's training ground, on the sleeve of first-team training wear, and across a range of matchday assets throughout the season.
Many members of our team are lifelong Blackpool FC supporters and season ticket holders, making this more than just a sponsorship. It's an opportunity to support a club that means a great deal to our people while investing back into the community where our business began.
The partnership follows our recent work with Blackpool FC on an energy audit and procurement review. Working alongside VoltX Power, we successfully secured a new electricity supply agreement for Bloomfield Road and the Club's training ground, helping deliver both cost savings and operational efficiencies.
At Trident Utilities, we help organisations across the UK reduce costs, manage energy risk, lower carbon emissions and navigate an increasingly complex energy landscape. Through our energy procurement, compliance, invoice validation and sustainability services, supported by our Pulse platform, we help businesses gain greater control over their energy strategy.
VoltX Power, one of our valued energy supply partners, will also play a key role in the sponsorship. As Blackpool FC's new business energy supplier, VoltX Power's branding will feature on the back of player and staff training wear and across training-ground related media content.
"Trident was born in Blackpool, and as a lifelong supporter, I'm proud to announce our partnership with Blackpool FC.
As we continue to grow and celebrate our 25th year in business, partnering with our hometown club marks a special moment for the company and our team.
Blackpool FC is already part of the fabric of Trident, with many dedicated season ticket holders among our colleagues, and we're excited to contribute to the club's journey on and off the pitch.
Having secured the supply agreement for Bloomfield Road and the training ground with VoltX Power, it's fantastic to see them standing alongside us in backing Blackpool FC through this sponsorship."
"We are delighted to support Blackpool FC working with Trident Utilities on this partnership.
Businesses today need an energy supplier they can trust to deliver value, reliability and transparency. Our mission is to make business energy simple by offering competitive pricing, flexible solutions and responsive customer support that puts customers first.
We understand the challenges organisations face in managing rising energy costs, which is why we work closely with every customer to help them make informed decisions and achieve long-term savings.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to providing straightforward energy solutions that support business success while helping customers reduce their environmental impact."
We're incredibly proud to be partnering with Blackpool FC during such an important year in our history.
As a business founded in Blackpool 25 years ago, this partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting our local community while continuing to help organisations across the UK achieve their energy, cost and sustainability goals.
We look forward to working closely with Blackpool FC and VoltX Power throughout the 2026/27 season and wish everyone at the Club every success for the campaign ahead.
