Today, Trident Utilities has relocated premises to the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone (part of the Lancashire Advanced Manufacturing & Energy Cluster) to accommodate further growth within the business.
The new building is digitally enabled, with multiple individual and team meeting rooms which will allow our staff to connect with customers through digital platforms for one-to-one consultations. This will contribute to further reducing emissions associated with travel to customer premises and help achieve our own commitment of becoming a net zero business by 2025.
The planned move has also created the opportunity to kit out the new office with new furniture but supports the move towards net zero too, as the furniture has been recycled.
The building is more environmentally friendly and provides Trident with the opportunity to invest in electric vehicle charging points to encourage the use of EVs to travel to and from work. The new office space will help with increasing collaborative working across the various departments as well as creating break-out and social space for staff to engage with each other during break periods.
“Moving into our new office represents an exciting phase of our growth and purpose of ‘Making Energy Simple’ for our customers. The last two years changed the shape of how our people engage with our customers. This ‘new’ way of working influenced our office choice, and we fully utilise the design of our new office to provide improved technology solutions to deliver great customer service and flexible working arrangements for our team.”
